…I just purchased a Fenix TK75 2015 edition with 4 XM-L U2 emitters. My stl-v2 is still a great throwing flashlight for my night walks with my new rescue dog (Min-Pin, Italian Greyhound mutt, very fast mutt, 8 months old), but needed something with bright spill close and a bright spot to peer into the woods.
Owl, bobcat, brown bear, coyote, deer, armadillo, opossum, squirrels and unknown things that go bump in the night need to be seen, not heard.
I’ve culled the armadillo, opossum, and squirrel, but the other animals are protected, so my little mutt needs better protection from the 4 first animals mentioned. I’m armed on our night walks, but I hear things I can’t see with the STL-V2. I hope that is the model, it has an XML-T6 emitter and a fairly large reflector.
So, hello to everyone on the website again, and it’s good to be back on the best frugal ’net for flashlights!
