Triple leds beam profile is always on flood side or “wall of light” if you may called it. No wonder they used op reflector definitely for flooding factor as such bleaking spill from hotspot. Take a look at their measurement meter range : 300m - 600m. I’m not saying I do not like, but actually I really love wall light, I like to lights up everything and wide range of beam. This is comparable to Convoy S12 3*sst20 except different in term of power output. It is claim to be somewhat stronger output than he S12.
Question are, what are their driver? Current regulator they are using? Is there more efficient regulator?(I thought that could it be lexel involed?) The above value, is really2 rediculus for me, atleast. Nevertheless, averaging the value vs power, if we weigheing it to balance amount…it could potentially be triple light that we hope it to be…

What's the actual technical difference between NS53 and NS53A? Does the latter one use another MOSFET to deliver more current or is it somehow modified in comparison to the NS53? I feel tempted to buy either the NS53A or the NS43. Some beamshots might help a lot to make the right decision (also in terms of tint quality).
Name another single 5mm emitter that can give you 3000lm on direct drive on 3v. I can forgive the tint shift for that reason.

The NS53 looks pretty good to me, but I don't like the tint or user interface that much.
It is reasonably priced, however.

If turbo were hidden, and the tint were warm white, it'd be a no-brainer for me.

Only really relevant for this light, where there will be a suuuper fast stepdown anyway. For anything else I’d take a triple or quad of many other emitters over a single XHP50.2 or 70.2 any day.
Interested in both sst-40 and xhp50.2. Will possibly buy both depending on price.
