How ling did yours take to arrive?

I think around 8 or 9 days.
Now I am located maybe 5 miles from JFK and it came in via JFK, so if yours is shipped to another port or you are across the country from where it comes in, might take longer.

Close to pulling the trigger on this one, just deciding between the 53 & 53A. My suspicion is that the extra bump in amperage is more heat than visible output….

I was thinking that myself at first. I ended up ordering the 53A. Yes it’s more heat, but turbo isn’t meant to be constant anyway regardless of which version you choose. Turbo is more of the wow factor. So for that reason I went with the higher output. With 3 emitters, this things gonna get hot fast regardless. I don’t imagine you getting much more than a minute of extra runtime on turbo. Just my two cents.

We are on the same page I think. The sticking point for me is whether the difference in brightness is even noticeable.

I would think faintly. Definitely won’t be a huge difference. So what other pros and cons are there? I think the 53 is a bit cheaper that the 53A.

What I like about the 53A is starting in Turbo. If I could have my way every light would start in turbo. I hate clicking to ramp up because half the time I pass it and have to start all over. I mean this thing is a toy. Starting in turbo so I can show it off is perfect. If I wasn’t going for max lumens, I would go for the sst20 or sst40 version to get still a great amount of lumens for this size light, but with more throw. But being that I already own a Lumintop ODL20C, Astolux C8, Astrolux FT03 sst40 and xhp50.2 versions, and Convoy M21A I figured I have enough throwy lights. This will be my first flood type light. A year ago it would have been unheard of to think a light this small would hit damn near 10k lumens. I’m excited to play with this little beast when it arrives.

Wait, do the other models NOT start in turbo? I just assumed they all used the same UI.

I just double checked Neals website. Only the 53A version starts in turbo. The others are double click for turbo.

Got the light yesterday - what an unreasonably stupid light.
I love it.
Start on Turbo does make it even more stupid, but it’s good for that wow effect :smiley:
