I listed several replaceable blade knives some time ago…today I stumbled upon a test of many knives like that:

Titanium blade knives are a thing … tf?

That's weird...

Why don't they show a photo of the entire knife?

^ speaking of weird, check out THIS knife listing. Their first image is a video, and it’s not of the knife. It’s this weird recording of a paper saying “Do not show photo in feedback!” And it focus roves around the paper, looping a few times. The next image is a static one, HERE. Same thing. Very sloppy of them to think this is the priority. I’m guessing AliExpress is cracking down on images they consider unsuitable (e.g. demonstrating knife use, showing the lock mechanism, etc).

I just asked Jufule about it. They said it was about them selling counterfeit knives. If you receive a knife without logo, there’s no problem. If you receive one with a Benchmade logo, please don’t post pics of it.

BTW, they have some sexy knives in their store….does anyone have experience with them?

What’s the “experts” opinion on Böker knives?
I saw a local store selling some models, but wanted to know if they worth the try.
Bear in mind that my EDC knife is Sanrenmu 7010LUY-SHF :stuck_out_tongue:

Böker has several lines of products, ranging from cheap chinese made knives to expensive ones (made in Germany).
In between a lot of knives which seem to be made by SanRenMu & some other factories.

All in all they have a sh*lo*d of models to choose from, depending on your taste and your wallet

Their Para 3 is pretty good with ball bearings.

Thanks for the information and clarification AgentSteel! I will check the local store models and try to see the quality, price and if they suit me, knowing that they can be in that big range you pointed out ! :+1:

Easy Open Camillus short line 15.00 eBay

There are better options out there for the money. Just like Agent Steel said, they have a broad (quality) range. Many models are outsourced so you’re paying a premium and they always had soft hardware which is a big downside to me. They have exclusive deals with great designers but many times the execution was poor so I stopped buying them. Either there was blade play, rock lock, soft hardware or something else.

I don’t know about the newer ones because the reviews are poor and more like overviews since the knives get barely used.

For reputable sellers, there can be an issue of showing a locking mechanism due to restrictions on locking knives. However, that isn’t what is going on here. I think it’s interesting that they admitted it explicitly to Agro. So, points for honest counterfeiting?

Look, this is a $20 counterfeit of the Para 3. There is a 0% chance that it is actually S30V. While I’m infamously opposed to the anti-Ganzo and anti-Sanrenmu torch mob over on Blade Forums, this kind of stuff is just plain wack. Forget supporting such nonsense. Why would anyone want this product? It’s almost assuredly made of some garbage steel like 3Cr13. So is it for display purposes only? Is it for prop use? Is it about impressing peers or a “fake it until you make it” accessory? Is it to gauge interest in buying a real Para 3?

They didn’t actually use the word “conterfeit”, they preferred “logo infringement”.
Anyway I also value honesty. And though I’d rather buy a Jufule knife with Jufule logo than a Jufule knife with a different logo, I would prefer to knowingly buy a counterfeit than to be deceived.

But you say you’re sure they are faking steel. Big thumbs down for that from me.

Looks nice, very much like the original. I take it performance is a bit under par, but then… probably worth it for the price? Did it come with bearings or did you swap some in? I have to admit, I’d rather see them do a “semi-clone” and not steal the logo, mimic wording from “Golden Colorado,” etc. There’s no good reason for it.

I’ve been eyeing some automatic models which are not overly expensive (around 40€ for the lowest prices)

ie. the Boker Plus Strike Coyote, or some of the “Kalashnikov” AKS-74 ones

(automatic and EDC often don’t go in the same sentence depending on local regulations…)

Also they do some nice “dog tag” style knives

I have a few of theses, they are great, the blue one is my EDC, i have many of this model and gave away a few, people love it.

It comes with bearings by default and the blade steel is 8Cr13MoV.

The Boker AK automatic knives are popular because of the cheap price compared to the competition. People say they’re good but I never owned one.

I don’t think there’s much competition in that price range.

Hanzo/Firebird had some decently priced autos.

There are also some Protech clones on AliExpress but you never know what you’re getting.
