After years of using disposable (< $10) 3xAAA multi-LED toys I’m ready for a “real” flashlight – with batteries 3xAA or 4xAA - I’m considering both the Cyclone C88 and the Jetbeam PA40. I have tons of AA Eneloops and I’d like to avoid adding another battery type. Ease of use / simplicity is more important to me than throw or lumens. If the C88 was a flood-to-throw model I’d already have it on order.
