Wow, that’s a legit deal on the E05 - half price! I have one (a review unit) and it’s great outside of the cool tint. Good thing the LED is easily replaceable. Considering it includes a 14500 as well… great price.

From the product page:

Does it really take two 14500 batteries?

Update: I looked at the Amazon product description for the E05 and it clearly states that it takes only one 14500/AA battery. That leads me to ask how can a 14500 battery deliver the current required to drive an XP-L LED to 900 lumens? If it can, then certainly not for long. Right?

Yes —- amp readings are about 25 % low up till 4 amps (compared to clamp meter and old Radio Shack with short leads) —I can test higher than that—keeps blowing fuse — Voltage readings are very close to others

I purchased the E05 with the code on amazon, great deal and thanks. Then I thought, that’s a good deal on a AAA light. So I placed another order and used the E01 code and it only discounted .16 cents. I’ll purchase one for $7.98 but I’m not crazy about the price of $15.79. :cry:

Ha, my first China-shipped lights are yet to arrive from Banggood and Hank… I’m trying to forget about them and wait to be surprised :laughing:

My Astrolux Banggood lights got dropshipped from Canada and got here in 7 days from order placement, just got em today, a week with UPS doesn’t seem too bad. :email:

My biggest grex so far was that with 2 orders of Cometas, the first was free shipping, got a tracking number, and arrived in a few weeks, not too bad. The second which was ordered only a day later (if that), I paid like 4bux extra for “better” shipping (was supposta have the cells included), but got no tracking number, and took almost 2mos to get.

Guess it pays to go cheap.

Funny, though, the Sofirn SC31 was available on Amazon for the same price as actually, think it was less, 17bux vs 18bux, as GB’s on a flash sale. Got it yesterday, quite nice for a muggle light, or even a nice simple UI for non-muggles.

Might still be a clickable 5% off coupon on Amazon, dunno. Tempted to get a second one. :laughing:

Dunno if they’re orderable “in bulk” with the same coupon, but these critters would make nice gifts.

Still hate the pocket-clips, though, and a “ring” of sorts to be able to affix the 1buk deep-carry clip from FT would be great. Otherwise, the notch is just too wide and the clip “tilts” when the light’s clipped onto something.
