These are blowers. They have different applications vs the canned air. The canned air is better for spots or if you need quick bursts of strong focused air in a narrow spaces where you will need more precise control of the blowing path. For example, you can use the blower to remove a big layer of dust around your desk but probably not in tight spot inside a laptop. I had situations that some little bits of potato chips got caught underneath a key. Brushes won’t reach and these blowers just do not have enough muzzle speed. The canned air with the flexible thin narrow tube can bend enough to get underneath the key and point blowing at the bits to get them loose and out from underneath.
I also use canned air to make frozen bugs (like those big black widow spiders in my yard) by spraying them with the can inverted.
Not an Amazon deal, but a great price and worthy of a look. Flir DM64 multimeter for only $49.99 shipped with temp probe, case and silicon leads. It’s said that this is a highly regarded rebadged Brymen BM235. 2 year warranty.

Though almost all discounts are aimed at US customers, this is a thread I follow with some interest. You never know.
So I got a pop-up, asking me if I was located in NL or in US. More out of curiosity than out of honesty I clicked on NL.
Then I clicked it away fast as lightning, even without looking if the price included shipping.
Because the price of this DMM was €189 ex. VAT. Incl. VAT €230 (give or take a few cents). AKA about $250.
Nevertheless: I keep on following this thread, because once in a while there is a real gem listed.

Never used one of these, will it do anything a Dremel won’t?
You can use it as an etcher/engraver, but it’s actually a teenytiny jackhammer.
What I was borrowing one for, was to chisel away “carbon deposits” that collect under the outer lip of SS frying pans and the like.
Steel wool does zero. Dremels (those mini wire-brushes) just scuff the metal and change the finish. I was using a scribe to manually gouge out the C buildup, but then for s&g I tried an engraver, and it worked like a champ.

Food thermometer, 3fitty.
Perfect timing, as the one I was using just croked.
One-time use coupon, but it worked for 2 doodads, so I got a spare.

I don’t see anyway to buy it as the price doesn’t appear on the Amazon page.

On the Amazon page, click on See All Buying Options on right. You will see price at $2.99 and then you click Redeem to activate the 50% off coupon.
Hack, I already have something similar in my cell/laptop kit but for $1.50, I will keep a spare in my backpack. Can’t even Starbucks these days with $1.50.

Ahhh Ok thanks! I should have realized that was the way to buy it
I blame not doing so on the Oxycodone I just took for the terrible pains I’m having from my lung surgery 2 months ago. Buying stuff seems to bring me temporary relief from the pain hahaha. And I’ve been buying a lot of stuff

Nice pro-tip on the spider freezepops!
Got my *Fophop blower today. I think it will accomplish what I need it to. I still have a few cans of air and if they are required at least they’ll last longer since I’ll only need them occasionally.
Mine was charging at 2.8A and settled in at 2.6 for about an hour.
Trigger warning!
I don’t care much about race and this has zero to do with it because it would be the same no matter what the circumstances:
I’m not the first to say it but these Chinese companies are really failing with their names. I honestly saw a brand name that, at first glance, looked like f-you except it was like the actual phrase. Our languages evolved separately, the meanings and memorable aspects of certain words or sounds can be powerful. Some are merely collections of letters that have no pronunciation, others are words with no relation to anything about the product. I’ve seen this in the flashlight world and if you look on Amazon it’s in everything. It’s OK to have a company with different names in different markets.
Rather than do a deep dive, these are the brands listed on the page with the Fophop blower:
VTVTKK
DOROBEEN
BIVBTP
I feel these companies are doing themselves a disservice by not putting more effort into branding. At least the Fophop is pronounceable. oh well.
Hardly buy any flashlights these days, couldn’t ask for more than I already have, but this Amazon deals thread just keeps delivering!
edit: My wife loves the Fophop so this is a BIG win!

I missed on those 4 pouches for 10,
now I see they have 2 for 10 but I am curious what is that drainhole on the bottom of the pouch?
It’s a hole so in case water gets in there, it’d drain out.

Just got the engraver today… the little pouches are a bit too small, but would probably fit perfectly in these bigger ones.
