Believe me, I tried…

Like that 12ft hdmi cable. Tried for 2, only 1 came off. Got 1. Tried another, nope, no go.
I wish they’d say right on the page what’s the limit, if any.
I went to buy some more grape juice. The Happy Belly was on sale for 3bux even, as they’re usually 4’n’change each. Max 5 on the “quantity” pulldown. Kfine, got 5. With the juice, cable, and something else I got, I got the 24hrs of free shipping. So I tried it again. Nope, wouldn’t even take the order, all the quantities/price/etc. blank.
(Despite the goofball name, I like that stuff even after side-by-siding it with Welch’s. so not like it’s 2nd rate or anything, and if I can score it at a price less than supermarkets, I do.)
Seriously, amazon has such gameplaying with prices, quantities, coupons, clickies, codes, etc., that it’s almost turning into Gearbest.
And don’t tell me there’s no “collusion” if not “conspiracy” as far as prices. Frikies catfood, 24.88 at Chewy. 24.88 at Walmart. 24.88 at Amazon. To the penny. And 88? Not even like 24.99 or anything, but the easy-to-remember 24.88.
Ages ago I ordered something from Amazon that came to where I work… in a Walmart box!
So yeah, there’s lots of game-playing back’n’forth, not just with prices, but also “adjustments” up/down, probably as others here said, based on demand. It’s like… was it Wendy?.. that had “surge pricing” for lunches?
Welcome To The Machine…
