I wish to apologize to the majority of members for allowing my self to be drawn in on a thread written by a self righteous new member whose sole purpose for joining here wasn’t to contribute to BLF, they only joined here to complain about another forum, that isn’t the reason BLF exists.

Having used both forums for some time I know that a lot of the complaints about CPF aren’t based on fact just often someones misinterpretation of rules at other times no basis for fact. Just occasionally they might be totally justified.
But let’s not get off track with other spurious issues. This isn’t anything other than an apology thread.
Wow really, now its lowered to pretend apologies in other threads? I don’t post much but I’ve been watching, this is an agenda thread, not an apology thread. Let it go, people have different opinions, it happens on the internet. You are really just taking the type of complaining you are complaining about others complaining about to another level with this.

In fact, it is precisely because YOU (and apparently a couple others) have the opinion you wrote above that the thread quickly degenerated. Look, we all have opinions, and often they differ. I don’t think so, can’t bring myself to believe that this drama and hysteria is genuine, I’ve long had the feeling Fartybum was an undercover CPF admin/mod who is just trolling BLF to stir things up, his post history has a strong patern of vigorously defending CPF while trying to belittle/attack BLF whenever possible.

You may not have known you were doing it, but what we have here is an almost perfect example of an 'explanation apology':

"I'm sorry for letting myself be drawn into an argument with that ignorant, inbred moron who is obviously only here to stir up trouble" has the word 'sorry' in it, but it is not an apology.
We used to see a lot of this on UK forums like the bit-tech serious forum. I think it’s a cultural thing… My opinion though is, I remember a lot over there fell for the strange noise heard around the world hoax in 2011. I was like are you kidding me… Even the smartest guy on the forum was all oh crap lol
Seen a lot of red herring and straw man arguments on their forums… I remember too, one of their old geezers in parliament fell for a Nigerian hoax- he was going to get money from a rich lost uncle.
Notice how every subject about CPF is quite civil until Fartybum comes in with his abrasive and inflamatory posting and actually succeed in derailling them till the admin has no choice but to delete them ?
He actually manages quite well to have most critisicm about CPF (wich is getting a bit old) erased from BLF by this method, that is efficient trolling.
