My name is Chuck, I live in Illinois just west of O'Hare airport and I'm a couple of weeks away from my 69th birthday. I'm retired from AT&T after 35 years and now spend my time playing with my dogs, cameras, flashlights and cruising on summer nights in my hot rod. I'm hoping to learn more about flashlights here, I'd particularly like to learn how to build dropins. I have no intention of ever actually building one I'd just like to know how it's done. I started out with 5 or 6 Maglites and soon added 2 Surefire 6P's and a 9P. Then some how (the devil made me do it) I managed to pick up 3 Lumapower and 6 Solarforce lights. I'm looking forward to having some fun and learning more about flashlights here.
Hi Telman, welcome to the forum.
Aren't you that guy that posted that totally tasteless story about the bear and your girlfriend ?
I really liked it.
Welcome .
I stand guilty as charged!

Hey Chuck. My mom will be 70 this year. And even though she has AT&T for her phone service, she absolutely hates AT&T!
(Don't worry, it's nothing personal.) :)
Hello and welcome to BLF. Another Northern Illinoisan here, out West in the Fox Valley.

Thank you JohnnyMac, I have a 1923 T-Bucket that I originally built in 1967, 4 engines, 3 transmissions and hundreds of other small changes and I'm still playing with it.
Great car! Welcome to BLF!
Welcome to BLF!
..and really great car you have! I'm jealous!
Simply beautiful!! I hope to have a '32 or '34 roadster one day. When I get a place with a decent garage the project will begin and it’ll be driven hard & often just like my bikes.
Aloha and welcome to BLF Telman2!
Love your hot rod!
