Nice! The high contrast and dimmed out low contrast makes it easier to follow and is less visually distracting.
Like the UI, this flowchart is more intuitive to use

Thanks! And yes, the blue for Advanced UI only is supposed to be dimmer than the green for Simple UI. Actually, I recently added the possibility to address the config menus separately, which might be a way to help those who apparently are having difficulties filtering out details. The config menus are relatively spacious, and by changing a single color value in the TEX source file, they could be even less visually distracting (but at the cost of adding another color).
To illustrate the idea roughly, if you define a dark blue and set that instead of currently advancedconfig-draw for advancedconfigmenu-draw in this line, the dark mode edition would look like this, with all the config menus even dimmer, waiting in the distant background to be explored when the user is ready:
Hi folks, for those interested, here comes a diagram update that focuses on the diagram layout, and specifically on the layout of the config menus. Two things have come together here:
First, in a general way, the point has been made that especially newcomers can be overwhelmed by all the configuration options, and would like to focus on the actual flashlight operation.
Second, in a more specific way, recently, over at GitHub, there has been a conversation about adding more options to the voltage config menu, regarding the use of RGB aux while the light is On (and possibly more), which would also have to fit into the diagram, see over at GitHub:
All of this has prompted me to look into this, and what has turned out to work within the present diagram layout is to decrease the font size specifically for the config menus (besides a few cosmetic changes, in particular with regard to factory reset). The config menus are “set and forget”, and may not be the very first thing to turn to, so arguably it makes sense to put them a little bit into the background, while still documenting all the available options.
The generic diagram (source) has thus gone from this (release 25):
to this (release 26):
I hope this makes the diagram easier to understand and a little less intimidating. If you have any ideas or feedback about this, just let me know.
Just for the sake of completeness: The dark mode edition (for Anduril 2 release 2025-07-07 only) is now updated to the latest layout as well (source):
Hi folks, here is an updated Anduril 2 diagram for the latest Anduril 2 release 2026-08-12 (including Anduril 2 release 2026-08-11 from the day before).
It looks like this (source); please note that the file below has a lower resolution to keep the file size down:
Aside from some cosmetic changes, this time around, there have been several additions with the new Anduril 2 release, so if I got something wrong, just let me know. Here is what’s new:
There is information on the higher resolution of the new “Smooth POVD” feature, on lights that support it (“hardware-specific”), in the “Aux LED Color for Voltage” box in the upper right. While the traditional voltage colors have a 6-step resolution and are visually represented by 6 discrete colors (just like before), the new Smooth POVD has a ~60-step resolution and is visually represented by a rainbow color gradient.
Furthermore, the Smooth POVD resolution is illustrated in Voltage Config, Option 2.
The Smooth POVD high resolution is not relevant for the Aux LED color in Off and Lockout modes, so the higher resolution is not mentioned there.
The new option 5 “Aux wile On” is added to Voltage Config. For further information regarding the RGB aux while On, I have referred to POVD. RGB aux while On display voltage, so the color, and the color resolution, is the same as for POVD / Smooth POVD; and with Smooth POVD, RGB aux while On ramp brightness as well.
The two new aux LED patterns, “2 Low Blinks” and “1 Low Blink”, are added, and the aux LED pattern and color in Off and in Lockout are now combined. This leaves some space above the aux LED settings to include possibly more “advanced aux” documentation in the future.
It is still possible to mark the aux settings in Off and in Lockout separately, for example by using different colors, like so (for this, as well as for clarification, there are the additional “in Lockout” and “in Off” below the aux LED settings):
Finally, the new HSV channel mode (hardware-specific again, because this is only on lights with Smooth POVD) is added to Channel Mode Config. Because (apart from ramping brightness) it is possible to smoothly ramp the rainbow colors on this channel mode with 3H, “HSV” features another rainbow color gradient, this time rotated, to distinguish it from the new Smooth POVD voltage colors.
That’s it. I hope this Anduril 2 diagram is helpful, and I am happy to receive feedback and ideas.
great info, thank you!
fwiw, I usually set my standby Aux to Red
and my Battery check blinks to Red
the HSV channel comes up first as Low Red, when using 9H from on to enable Channel 2. (HSV stands for Hue, Saturation, and Value)
if Battery blinks are set to that Red HSV color, and subsequently channel 2 color is changed to something other than Red, then the Battery blinks color also changes to that changed other color than Red.
Standby Aux otoh, stays Low Red and is not affected by the change of the HSV channel color..
hope that makes sense..
This was great done by the great long time member toykeeper great driver but you need a little phd like her ora great memory but stilll she
Was a great great if not the best in this forum ever
Haha, yes, it does. Loads of new details here.
Yes, as I understand it, the HSV channel mode is an additional channel mode, completely separate from the traditional Red aux channel mode. And Smooth POVD, and with it the additional (+1 in the diagram) HSV channel mode, currently is not relevant for the Standby aux.
For 9H from On, channel mode config, initially there are two separate red channel modes (the first one being the HSV channel), but for the aux LED color, for 7H from Off/Lockout, only the one traditional Red aux comes up anyway (no HSV in the rotation there).
And for Batt Check, the channel modes of 9H from On are relevant, not the aux LED color of 7H from Off/Lockout. So for Batt Check, indeed the HSV channel mode is in the rotation.
Hopefully this is not causing further confusion. ![]()
The latest ZFlasher AVR app seems to have a bug and I can’t update firmware of TS10 or D4K with it. I recommend you not to update ZFlasher app for now.
Thanks for the heads up.
Thanks! And yes, confirmed that zflasher AVR is currently broken, with the latest update from 2026-08-26, after working flawlessly for years. kotarak posted a PSA about this a couple of days ago over at r/Hanklights, link. The good news is that the latest zflasher AVR does not break anything, it simply does not work.
And more good news: now that the zflasher method is broken (with the lastest update only), this can serve as a welcome opportunity to refresh the avrdude method. anduril.click has good instructions about this here. I already checked with a TS10 V2 (on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, with stock avrdude 7.1+dfsg-3build2), and reflashing worked like a charm.
Even more good news: by now, I got the new ZFlasher AVR version 2.1.1 (an upcoming update was already announced over at r/Hanklights, link). I checked with a TS10SG, and everything worked just fine. So I figure that ZFlasher AVR is already fixed, nice!
Here is a brief update on the diagram. To specify the new dimmable RGB functions, the legend now comprises a new item, “On lights with dimmable RGB aux LEDs”:
As of now, this refers to Smooth POVD as well as to the additional HSV channel mode.
The more general classification “hardware-specific” is still present in the misc config menu; it refers to the tint ramp style and to the jump start level.
Here is another brief diagram update, still for Anduril 2 release 2026-08-12. After a conversation over at Reddit (link), the reference to ToyKeeper’s Anduril User Manual is now much more prominent at the top center of the chart page:
