I’m working over PMs with @Light_Veteran to get my 8C-Quick_Aux_Switch mod working on his Firefly lights with that driver, and also to try and fix a bug regarding blinks in the thermal configuration menu that he only sees with those lights, and the fact lume1-ff-6af is not supported in @ToyKeeper’s upstream repo plus the fact that @loneoceans chose to “restructure” his for AVR Studio is proving to be more than a little PITA, as AVR Studio sincerely sucks big rocks when compared to the standard CLI-oriented development environment we all know and love (“Projects”? “Solutions”? Yeah, right…)
So, is there a specific reason this driver is not supported (yet?) in the upstream TK repo? Is there any plans to? Or alternatively, did someone (eg @wolfgirl42, @gchart, @SammysHP) either “ported” or “restructured” @loneocean’s code back to the standard so I can get rid of AVR Studio?
I’ve been working on it, but a combination of health problems and being busy I’ve not made significant progress yet, if I get some time to I might try and work on it some more over the next few days
Thank you @wolfgirl42 for responding, and sorry to hear about the health issues – I hope these are solved completely and satisfactorily as soon as possible.
It’s great to know you have been working on it, otherwise I could cede to the temptation of doing it myself and would in my ignorance end up wasting/duplicating effort because AVR Studio really pisses me off.
Let’s coordinate and if there’s anything I (or, I believe, @Light_Veteran as the owner of the physical hardware) can do to help, please let us know.
I am in.
I also reported the issue of missing blink in GitHub in loneoceans issues page.
If @wolfgirl42 need help with hardware I have so many Fireflies
