Hi everyone, Although I'm BLF reader for more than a year, I've felt like a modder quite recently, when my first mods turned out to work. Yet a year before I knew nothing on soldering, barely remembered from school something about heat and my electrics knowledge was limited to differentiate 110V and 230V (mainly by a different plug :FACEPALM: ) My interest in flashlight came together with reviving my biking hobby. Since I'm 40+ normal guy with family and occupation, there isn't much time to cycle during the day. So I cycle at evening and/or late evenings. This way I have started to appreciate a well lighten path (as I cycle mostly on country roads) and soon after I realized stock flashlights does not satisfy me truly. I have own preferences. After sieving out all available flashlights there were very few left. My interest concerns mostly 1-cell flashlights capable to be monted on a bike but also having EDC features - as my second scope of use is walking out the dog in not urbanized area. So this way I've started reading BLF and some other forums. Gained some experience wrecking cheap lights, drivers, leds by trying and seeing how things work. Thanks to that now I have... a pretty nice bunch of multifunctioned drivers and leds ;) ... and a little more experience. But thankfully usually I'm able to assembly all the parts I've ordered.

By the way, i bought the same driver and LED on board with FET as you from L4P.
I plan on putting it in a C8 though.
OP reflector and some lens diffuser will be necessary.

Welcome back.

My wallet suffers less now I mostly focus on upgrades/mods to individual lights, new drivers, a new led or two, it’s not too much money.
