Hello from the Netherlands. I just bought my first “serious” flashlight after reading a lot of good info here. It’s a Wurkoss TS22. I have a background in electronics, I’m not really familiar with modern day flashlights, but it’s interesting technology and I want to learn more about it. With other things as well, I like good quality products without breaking the bank.

Hi Rudy, welcome to BLF. Where the old Dutch expression “op één been kan men niet lopen” is also valid. for flashlights.
For the non Dutch speaking minority, the literal translation of it is: you can’t walk on one leg. But historically it refers to turning down a (second) drink.

Well, next purchase probably for Father’s Day. My parents have one or two old, cheap plastic body flashlights, a new one would be nice for general use in and around the house. I don’t think they want to use rechargeables, so a nice one that runs on AA batteries, probably?
