Hey everybody, been lurking around for maybe a month or so now. Finally decided to go ahead and join up. Not sure what I may bring to the network, but I figured maybe at some point I’ll have something to share. Currently I have an O-Light M20 that I purchased in 2009 and has been my EDC since, a Surefire G2L that I’ve had since about 2006/2007, a Solarforce L2 with an XM-L2 drop in (waiting on some new batteries to run it), and an Ultrafire C8 with an XML Q5 that I just received yesterday. Have a few others on the way as well!

EDIT: Solarforce has an XM-L2 drop in, bold is the correction

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoy your stay! The first real thing I’ve learned since being on here and probably the most oft repeated: Don’t buy Ultrafire batteries!

Yeah, I have picked up on that in my lurkings, as well. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome to BLF! The Olight m20 was my first really good flashlight, and I still love it! My current EDC rotates between a m20x, Fenix pd35 and a modded Convoy s8. Hope you enjoy your stay!

Yeah my M20 has definitely earned my respect. Definitely obvious I have carried it everyday as well, and it is even my duty light.

It's nice of you to join us, lilmatt119!

Welcome aboard lilmatt119. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome, friend.

Join in, contribute…and spend! :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! And if we got lickers around here, it’s a good thing I dont carry only a flashlight….lol

Welcome to BLF, lilmatt119!

Welcome, sounds like you are already well on your way to light addiction……

Thanks Chloe!

And yes, yes I am, Flitsmal. I went ahead and embraced it. I actually have a skyfire with an XP-G R5 on the way, got it for less than $6, and some no-name AA light on the way as well, less than $2. I’m looking at picking up several of the Trustfire R5-A3s for gifts (and of course one for myself haha).

Heck yeah, NC. Welcome. I went about the same route - lurked for months and finally signed up recently. Some seriously amazing knowledge on this forum. And very helpful, friendly folks.

That’s what I’m noticing. I’m currently debating with myself whether I want to jump into modifying/programming or not. Not like I don’t have enough hobbies already that take up most of my available workspace, but i can see the skills learned being extremely handy in other areas as well…Oh why must I be so easily attracted to learning new skills…
