Hello everyone,
Found this site while researching for a new single cell cr123 light. I’m upgrading form an old incandescent surfire G2 and I find myself swimming in all the diferent brands, features and lumen ratings.
Going to post up some questions and see where it leads me. Promise to use the search function first though. I’m a newb to flashlight-aholics, but not new to forums.
Welcome flyinsquirel, you should have no problem getting the answers you need on BLF. Then, you’ll be hooked… next thing you know you are adding a second flashlight shelf in the rec room.
Welcome to the forum. Should we call you Rocky? Just ask. Use the search for your own benefit but members here love to tout their favorites so don’t hesitate.
Do quite a bit of research before you decide what light will best suit your particular needs .
You will need a thower , a flooder , an EDC , a headlamp , a keychain light and at least one flashlight you buy just because it looks really cool . Or several .
Then buy a whole lot more flashlights . If necessary , invent new needs for your flashlights .
Get into modding flashlights when you realize that there are no commercially available lights that are perfect for you .
