Twice I’ve ordered empty p60 drop in modules for various projects. Every friggin time, they all have come with the parts shoved into the reflector and put inside a baggy. Fasttech keeps giving me the same lip service and promises that the issue will be addressed. Bang up job here fasttech. Bang up job.
Don’t buy P60 dropins from FT… they’re well known to poorly package them, and do so most of the time despite a large thread and many complaints about the issue.

Sounds like fasttech is a crapshoot on this matter. If I want to gamble, I’ll go to las Vegas. The part that pissed me off is waiting all this time on parts to have to keep waiting.
Mine was good. Few months back, I ordered 2 drop ins from them. Both packaged well. Not a mark on them. The “fire” one was still in the original packaging. Then bubble wrapped. Sorry you guys got bum deals.
But of course, I knew I was rolling the dice with them. After previous packages arriving with items hanging out of the gashes on the package. Of course it didn’t leave them like that, but one would think they would take the 2000 plus mile trip into consideration while packing them.
Are you talking about assembled drop-ins?
The issue is primarily with DIY drop-ins.
There’s a thread around here with a lot of people experiencing the really dumb packaging for the DIY drop-ins. I think over a year and people still get scratched up P60 reflectors. Literally a half-inch piece of tape and 2 seconds during packaging would solve the issue. :~
I was fortunate enough with the one I ordered, the driver spring was kind of tangled with the outer spring, and it was in turn wedged on the pill. I didn’t chance it on the 2nd one I needed (grabbed it from RMM instead).
I should have been more specific in my post. Both were assembled. I am glad you warned of the poor packing. I was going to build one for my 9p. Now looking elsewhere.
Update with what you find if you search around. I plan to start looking Monday.

I've ordered quite a fee P60 DIY's from FT and I think with all, the parts were bagged, and in some cases positioned in the reflector, but the reflector was bagged separately. Sounds like a pure gamble and I've been lucky...
