Good luck and hope you have your batteries charged.
My older sister is in North Carolina, but she’s in a part of NC that should only get a bit of rain out of this storm.
She’s not a flashaholic and I don’t think she has any nice flashlights or nice rechargeable batteries.
Good luck to those that are in the path of the storm! ![]()
I hope everybody stays safe. And keep your batteries dry and loaded!
We’re having a storm but that’s (comparing with Florida) only a gust of wind.
Lately I’ve been “busy” perusing marktplaats(dot)nl, our equivalent of Craigslist, for vintage or NOS flashlights.
The description of most of them is something like “I’ve never had to use it, so it has to go”.
Then I think: lucky for you. When are you going to sell your spare tire, you dumb @#$%?
I have family near Titusville, Florida.
(Titusville is on the east coast of Florida, in the middle north/south-wise.)
As of yesterday, they are doing fine.
They do not have power, but they do have generators, and they know how to use generators safely. ![]()
