Any good deal on 16340 protected lately?

I'm in a need for a decent pair of those. Any reccomendations?

id stick with the trustfire ones from DX

unless you want 3.0V ones, then id go tenergy

I have 4 of the DX TF flames (2 protected & 2 unprotected) and I haven't had any problems with them at all.

yeah flame Trustfires ... Unfortunately some one said they may also be counterfeited ..

But so far the DX ones seem to be good .

The grey ultrafires , [ Protected ] , mine have been very good .

TF flames are good, but beware, they are way oversized.

depend on above,and compare:

i can not find the 16340 products in DX.???

You can try these ...

How are the grey trustfires? (as linked before)

I bought the red/black flame trustfires about 3 months ago. I Run them on a single torch with high current draw (in the 0.6-1.5A region depending on the torch and modes) and when charging I put in about 500-550mA each. So far about 3 cycles on them. The high current draw does mean I get less power out of them due to the higher internal resistance causing a voltage drop, and termination before the full capacity is drawn.

The grey ones have a review claiming over 600mA at 1A draw, and photos from other users showing 700mA!! Can anyone here back that up? or was that a good batch from a while ago..

Ive also just bought the yellow spiderfires that are labelled 1000mA. I got about 550 mA into it too, but thats from the first charge. Discharged on a torch that draws up to 1.5A. I need to do further testing, but the cells are EVEN longer than the red/black trustfires by another 0.5mm or so. Only fits in one of my torches :\
