Are there any good moddable headlamps for cheap? I know I should just go ahead and buy a Skilhunt H02 or H15on the BLF code deal. But I like to tinker too. :heart_eyes:

Looking most likely for an 18650, but open to 14500’s too. Ideas appreciated.

I also have a mtnelectronics driver sitting here, never used… a MTN-17DDm withA6 Firmware I bought last fall when Richard had a promo deal.

try the xtar head lamps.

I swapped 219c in from the emitters they had from the factory.

used the stock board and driver but added the dc-fix diffusion film to make more floody.

bezel unscrews then you have access to the board and emitter, the ring from the switch gives access to the driver.
