Any Host that excepts 21700 with a tail switch?

I can’t seem to find much in the line of a good host that excepts 21700 with a tail switch. Looking to use a GXB172 boost driver with either a xhp70.2 or 50.2. The driver is 17mm but I’m not really concerned with the host driver width to much, I’ll just make a adapter. I would definitely be interested in a 21700 host with a tail switch.
Looking at HKJ’s battery graph’s the 20700 wouldn’t gain much over a VTC6 as far as battery sag goes. The 21700 does have a lot less voltage sag so that’s the best choice for this driver. I know that 26500 host can be adapted to work with a 21700 but I was really hoping to keep the host as small as possible.

Anyone know of a 21700 tail switch light or one that could be bored to fit?

There is already one with everything you can have.

The Nightwatch NS22 is a 21700 tailswitch driver with 22mm driver if I remember.

You need to order the 21700 tube as an extra but in fact this light looks and works best with it. It should be pretty good in heatshedding too with all those fins. It looks like it houses a 22mm driver.

Edit: beaten by BSM :expressionless:

Man that was quick. Ordered one with the 21700 tube.
Thanks gentlemen for your quick response, ask and you shall receive. :+1:

The Sofirn C8F 21700 has a tail switch and supposedly it isn’t all that hard to disassemble.

Moderator007, I was reading loneoceans webpage again and I saw that he actually has GXB202 board files posted! However, no part list.

http://loneoceans.com/labs/gxb172/

Scroll to middle, at GXB202 section. The description on the file says:

"GXB202 Rev A / 16 Apr 18 - based closely on GXB172 Rev A - added extra jumper pads, bleeder resistor (R16), delay resistor (R15), increase C1-C4 to 1210, fixed some silkscreen errors."

So it look like we can use the same part list as GXB172, but just change C1 to C4 to bigger capacitor. I guess bleeder resistor is for use with lighted tail cap? Not sure what delay resistor is for.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m going to wait until I have the host in my hands to tell exactly what I need or can be done.
If it’s all the same components besides those mentioned then to Build a 20mm version I would just need a few boards and some bigger capacitors.
Changing C1 to C4 to a bigger 1210 would make it a little easier anyway, but C1 to C4 probably was some of the easier components to work with.
