Any Idea on How to Remove Armytek Wizard Bezel??

Hi Guys,

Have anyone tried removing the Armytek Wizard bezel? I wanted to remove it as i wanted to tired some different optics on it but i cant seem to find a way to pop it out. Any idea or suggestion??

Thanks

Anybody have any ideas?? i thought of heating the area around the bezel and try prying it off with a screwdriver or a pick. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Roland, I would try leaving the head part to sit in some boiling hot water (put the head in a food bag first) and then try to rotate the lens. It could be the bezel is threaded. If you do try prying, use a plastic tool first to avoid causing damage.

Chloe, thanks for the suggesting. Would try it later today and see whether would be bezel move. Btw, would boiling it in hot water damages the circuitry inside? What is the duration that you would usually leave it in the water before trying to turn it??

Thanks

I should say, not actively boiling! That might cause damage. What I do is boil some water in the kettle and pour this into a plastic dish, then sit the bagged flashlight in that for five minutes. I haven’t noticed any problem from doing this.

Good luck!

They no doubt don't want you to do it, but perhaps if you agreed not to make any warranty claims they might oblige?
