Any other Vermonters here?

I’m new to this hobby and honestly, I have only had Mag-lites in the past. Still have an old 3-D cell that I use.

I never knew people did this mod chit until I started researching for a new light. I picked a NiteCore EA-41, a great price on a group buy is what sold me and a good review that I read. I’m sure for my first LED it will be fine. I know NC’s don’t have a stellar reputation and I have a feeling that this will not be my last LED.

I should be getting this little scorcher in the mail any day now and look forward to “tricking it out” a little, with your help.

Make yourself at home, steve4940!

I’m a former Vermonter, grew up & lived there for 35 yrs.
1st in Andover/Chester, then Castleton, high school in Middlebury, then Burlington until I moved
to Tenn.
Now in So. Az.
I’d be lying if I told you I didn’t miss it.
Consider myself very lucky to have grown up there.
As I got older, I found that I just couldn’t put up with the harsh winters anymore.
Good to have you here!

Hey Wilbur,

My thoughts exactly. The winters are driving me away from this gem of a State. I seriously doubt i will be staying in Vermont much longer.

Thanks for the welcome Raccoon City.

No problem!

Welcome to BLF!

I wish I was a Vermonter. It’s a beautiful area! And delicious milk products. A warm welcome to you from all of us here.

Frost in 10 weeks, or sooner!!! The good news is the days are getting shorter so more torch time.

Flashlight beams look great with snow on the ground, as well!

Welcome to BLF, Steve!

I lived in Vermont many years ago, now in New Hampshire. Welcome to the BLF.

A BIG hello from New England. I don’t live in Vermont but have done some gold prospecting there.
