I was wondering if anyone had a source for keychain light diffusers? I have a couple of TANK 007 EO9’s, both a DQG AA and AAA, (coming), and would sure like to find some diffusers for them.
Any help with locating some or any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks much!
Are you carrying the light around or tailstanding it with the diffuser on? The reason I ask is that I have been playing around with diffusers on small lights tailstanding and just sitting a larger diffuser over the bezel with the sides off the diffuser dangling down seems to work ok.

I’ve used the white plastic tips normally used for tubing chair legs - about $1 for 4 in most hardware stores. They come in a whole variety of sizes. But I have to say that after messing with diffusers, I find a normal ceiling bounce to be more appealing.
With a really small light, I wonder if tail standing it under a white plastic disposable cup would work?
Saw a thread the other day where someone cut a hole in a ping-pong ball to place over the end of a Sipik SK68 (without lens).
Tried it myself and was pleased with the results.
The trick would be getting just the right sized hole for it to slip over the head without slipping right down. The Tank007 E09 shown here seems to have a raised ring of knurling on the head which would act as a stop.
Ping-pong balls are cheap so if you mess up a couple it wouldn't matter.
They are usually made of nitrocellulose… highly flammable.

I don't think a Sipik SK68 or a Tank007 E09 would get that hot but I'll be careful.

Modern ones are made with a stabilized version. Older balls left acid in the material that caused them to degrade and become highly unstable over time. They could explode when hit or even spontaneously. Same for early billiard/pool balls.
So if you blow up the ball do you forfeit the game? 
EDIT: And with a name like texaspyro I'm not even gonna begin to wonder how you know this stuff!

That would work but I’d like to find one that would attach and stay on while carrying the light. That way it could work as a diffuser and also as a lens protector when carrying it and you could remove it when using the light.

Thanks for those links. I may go for one of those but I’d still like to find ones that are more compact. I did think about the clear caps for Chapstick and the like but I’ve checked all the stores in my area and none of them sell them with the clear caps.

That’s a good idea on the leg caps but I think it would be hard to find them in clear.
Really, finding a diffuser is not all that important but it would be nice to have.

I wish FastTech sold some smaller diffusers than 20mm diameter ones. For reference, my Preon P0 head (12.7mm diameter) might be the same size as the DQG AAA since members have shown they can be swapped. I don’t have an E09, but Tank007 TK-703 is 15.3mm not including knurling (48mm C/Pi).
