Amazingly, they say it has an XPG R5……doesn’t mention the XPG2 at all! Hard to believe Nitecore won’t try to use this for marketing purposes.

I accidentally dropped my EC2 from dining table height onto hard wood floor, malfunction after that and sent back for replacement.

Waited for about 2 months, when it got back found this to share with you guys

That is awesome news! I've just opened a ticket with Fasttech to see if their latest versions they are shipping have XP-G2 in them or if they are still the older XP-G stock. I have an XP-G EC1 and might consider an EC2 if it has the XP-G2 in it.

You can try but I am betting they are being unfairly scrutinized for MAP violations where other sites are flying under the proverbial radar. You can put in a request for a non-MAP price. If you do that they will likely give you a better price than they can advertize.

Since FT seems to get their high end lights as needed there is a chance the ones they are currently shipping may have XP-G2 in them. I have submitted a request with them asking about this. I’ll update you all when I get an answer from them.
