Is anyone here from the Galveston Island area?
I've been going to Galveston for several years and am looking for suggestions for good places to eat while I'm there.
I'm already familiar with, and regularly enjoy Salsa's and Tortuga's for Mexican Food, but I have had trouble finding a place to get good (and affordable) seafood. Coba's (across the ferry on the Bolivar side) was my favorite place, but they never re-opened after hurricane Ike destroyed most of Bolivar.
This is my fifth anniversary, and I am also looking for some special activity or dining place to take my wife. I was hoping for a dinner cruise, but $650+ is slightly out of my budget. 
Any thoughts? She's not a big fan of seafood anyway, so what would be a good location for a romantic dinner?
