Can’t tell if it is Q5 leds on the side or XP-L R5 as it says both. Regardless cheap enough to try.

Thanks for posting, I’ve been looking at it on Aliexpress for a while because I have a specific purpose for it. Didn’t know gearbest had it for less.

the Q5’s are the side lights: “CREE XML T6 (800lm) and 2 x R5 (400lm)”

The Q5 are the R5, main led is XM-L

chanamasala, when you get get your light I’d like to know a few things about the housings for the 2 side lights:

Are they made aluminum or plastic, and how do they hold their position: friction, or detents (ratcheting)

Also the diameters of all 3 lenses.

Ive had this light for awhile but I never used it much at all.
Impulse buy, I thought it was cool looking so I bought it and it is a cool light.
One of the side lights rotates fully the other will point up and down only.
No ratchet no detent, smooth and they stay were you set them. A little green in the tint from the floodlights but the flood is very useful. The main light is a nice white.
The beamshots are at 3ft.

So it looks like the side light housings are aluminum? Everything else looks better that I imagined, Glass lens, aluminum reflector, illuminated switch, white tint on the main led.

I wonder why one side light will point up and down only, that’s kind of a bummer, but I assume it can point anywhere in-between forward/up/down? Just won’t point rearwards?

I see yours is an Elfeland, found it on aliexpress for only $9.78 today, best price yet! I think I’ll order one, thanks!

Yes I think the side lights are aluminum. Not sure why one of them wont totally rotate. It only doesnt rotate rearward.
There is no l-m-h first click is main light second click main light goes off and both flood lights go on. Third click is all 3 lights at once, fourth click is strobe.

Its good that at least one will aim rearwards to illuminate in opposite directions, if one of yours is “broken” I’m wondering which one. I’m kind of surprised it would rotate 360 though, not sure but I figure if you kept rotating it around and around it would twist/bind/break the led wires.

I like how it turns them on separately or all at once.

Got mine today. I like it quite a bit for the price. Do wish the tint wasn’t so cool almost purpely. But it should be quite handy in a bunch of different scenarios. Magnet and the swiveling makes it pretty versatile. Also could just point sides down if you are in snake territory and want to keep your path illuminated.

Pretty sure side light housings are plastic. Took a knife to them and looks like plastic shavings came off. Mine only rotate all the way down or all the way up(speaking as if it is oriented as if you are holding it pointed straight ahead)
Mine doesn’t have the lighted on/off button. Just black rubber for mine.

Overall I’m happy with it.

Thanks for the feedback, pity about the plastic housings, but I had a feeling they were.

If possible could please post diameter measurements of the lens/reflector sizes?

It’s smaller than I thought, the main (center) lights looks like only a 21mm lens, same as Convoy S2 series.
