anyone have a ganzo g701 knife?

That’s a killer-looking knife! Thanks for the link Blueb8llz.

Yes, that is Enlan El04. Nice knife, commented the handle earlier already.

I do not like any axes lock on my Enlans, including that one. My sample has a very tiny bit of roughness on the lock but it can be stiff because it has vertical play, which makes the springs seem stiffer than they actually are . (And again, I do not have a well worn in model). Blade movement good after a drop of oil and adjustment (like on any knife).

Good knife, but I’d prefer Ganzo 704 instead, although it is a close call.

Knives can be bought from the usual places like eBay, Aliexpress as well as from known dealers like Exduct and Fasttech. Sometimes you may get lucky with DX, Manafont, Kaidomain etc too.

Here is Ganzo’s website for the G710, which shows the handle material as G-10…hence…the ‘G’ in the G710? Could be wrong tho…

For those interested, Various Micarta Handle Knives @ Exduct.

Check out G701/702/703/705/G707 and make your own conclusions.

Did anyone ever receive this knife from ExDuct? What is your impression of the Ganzo G715?

didnt order that because of the lack of pocket clip. and when did ganzo have that wierd screw like the enlans? now i cant even adjust it without using a dremel

You could try circlip pliers, to adjust the pivot screw? If the scales are aluminium it might not be too hard to fit your own pocket clip.

Nice resource there Chloe…thanks for posting. I’m gonna order the G715…really like the looks of it with the metal outling the handle.

yup thanks for that knife kit link.

yea if your able to get the clip on, let us know, ill buy that g715 as well

Copy vs Original: Ganzo G710 vs Benchmade 950 Rift, a (youtube) video comparison here

It’s nice to see them compared. It’s a pity there was no comparison of the knives in use. Personally, I’d take the Benchmade as it seems a better slicer (thinner blade and grind starts higher up), looks better and is lighter.

I actually dislike that the blade swings freely on my Sanrenmu 763 because it’s prone to bouncing (blade off the stop pin) when closing.
