They are very reasonably priced. I’m looking for basic 18650’s for my basic everyday flashlights. Any recommendations on cheap 18650’s are appreciated. Many thanks.
Thanks snakebite. The test data is embarrassing for this company. As bad or worse than the whateverfire you mention. I learned years ago, to never purchase a flashlight or battery with “fire” in its name. :person_facepalming:
Not exactly battery related, but a few months ago I bought two Thorfire TG06S flashlights from the Elfeland Aliexpress store for a good price based on positive comments in a thread here. The flashlights were shipped fast and appeared to be genuine. Reviews and the instructions that came with the light said to remove the tailcap to put the battery in. No such luck - I couldn’t get the tailcap off either light. Finally put a crescent wrench on the barrel and used a strap wrench on the tailcap and it came off. There was some kind of glue or varnish on the tailcap threads. It wasn’t dried lube, as there was no lube on the threads for the head of the light and this was hard, dry, and clear. Made me wonder if they sell seconds or what??
The lights have been working OK since I cleaned this stuff off.
