I send a message to them a little while ago after getting my "backordered" email. I'm anticipating a lot of headaches to just get this light. Tmart can apparently be a pain.

Ok, just for the record for the folks.
3 amps, 1 XM-L, it's 731 lumens at the emitter when the flashlight has been left tailstanding for say 5 minutes, say a 1 x 18650 light with a very good 18650 or better still 2 x 18350 Bestinone IMRs.
3 amps distributed via 3 emitters. It's 385 x 3 = 1115 lumens when the same flashlight has been left tailstanding.
OR
0.583amps into each emitter (1.749 amps total), it's 244 lumens each x 3 = 732 lumens when the same flashlight has been left tailstanding.
1.749 amps vs 3 amps for the same amount of light.
ie. The DRY triple XM-L or 2 x 26650 can dump out more light for a longer period of time a single emitter enthusiast can ever imagine. The 5 or 7 XM-L would pull ahead in the 2000 lumen range.
Eg 7 XM-L, 4 amps total for 0.583A per emitter. Light output = 1708 lumens. A SST-50 can muster about 1000 lumens only.
XM-Ls scale very nicely (high-eff) with good heatsinking till about 2.4A.
Yes 2100, that was my point with the 5*Xm-l ones against 3*XM-L, with the same total consumption even at 1A per die, it is a huge amount of light.
The only "problem" is when people want also a good throw, where these flashlights cannot do much against single emitters on the same head diameter.
Someone build me a 5*XML flashlight with 6" head lol........
Maybe with a 150mm head diameter it could be done cd520 :)

I Just received this light today and tested the current draw at the tail, Only 2.4A using MNKE 26650 4000mah battery.
Will post pictures once uploaded. Saw someone beat me on posting pix, nice photos. 
Flashlight is good quality outside, GITD,nice coating and colour. I almost don;t have any black flashlights due to recent trends now ;) Dropin poor quality, it doesn't have enough good contact to the rest of the body, driver is 20mm step up, 5 modes (low mode is not really low), 2.4A on fully charged cell, 1.35A on 3.2v, so it is not very bright at the moment. I have to switch leds to parallel and give some 5.5A AMC7135 driver and we will se what this baby can. Anyway it has big spill, so it will be a flooder.

My initial concerns would be a lack of current, but heck, it's not that big a concern. Looks like I'm getting one! The form factor is just too handy and awesome!
I got the Beamtech yesterday. Exact same light. 2.4A at the tail off an imr 26500 (don't yet own any 26650s) and no heat transfer path between the drop-in and the body. It'll take some work but it has good potential as a mod candidate.
