Anyone know how o-light chargers work?

I’d like to build a magnetic charging stand that gives an approximated % charge readout. This should be possible as the cable chargers indicate when charged so they must be able to read the voltage of the cell inside the light somehow. Don’t know how though as the terminals on the magnetic cap read about 2.6v when the cell is at 4v so there’s some kind of interface, which makes sense as you wouldn’t want a lithium cell connected directly to exposed terminals.

If anyone has investigated this and understands how they work please let me know!

Idk, but I found this if it’s helpful

And also this

Idk if its the same deal with the chargers they currently use. Or what chargers they currently use. But it’s all I got

Seen that but it’s a battery charger rather than the magnetic tailcap charger for the flashlights
