How much are you willing to pay? Aspherical lenses are not cheap. There are already such models in market >> UniqueFire UF-1405/1406 and J@X-Z1

I regularly have a few hundred dollars in modded flashlights in my boat as it is.
I’ve seen the 1405 and jax z1. I prefer push/pull zoomies, unless on a firearm. I also wish someone would make shorties, like the OP.
My perfect zoomie would be 3s2p 18650, 5 (high to moon) mode with memory, hidden beacon mode, a red dimly illuminated power button, ~75mm aspheric lens, push pull focus, mtg2, and a handle perpendicular to the body, with the power button on the back side of the handle.
If you really want to get fancy, make the zoom in/out function electronically, with a toggle button next to the power, like a camera zoom

What would that be…$500 - IF mass produced and of decent quality.
For now, I’ll just be happy it doesn’t exist because I’d be done with flashlights lol.
