I just discovered this interesting light in the seasonal section of the big orange store.
It has a built-in Li-ion charged by micro USB, which appears to be an 18650 based on its stated 2500mAh at 4.0V capacity. (Are they limiting its charge voltage to increase cycle count?) It is a zoomie (which can’t be tried in the package). It’s said to be 5000K which looks about right, and has a 75-ish CRI emitter. It is said to produce 500 lm and to comply with FL1. It has a tailcap soft switch.
From playing around with it in the store, it has 3 well-spaced levels (Hi-Mid-Low), no moon, and from waving it/my eyes around it appears to have NO PWM on any level! Also happily, it appears to have no strobe or SWS modes! When turned on to HI or dropped in level it fades smoothly to the desired level rather than suddenly jumping.
