I am thinking about upgrading the Apex 5T6 to XM-L2 U2 but I can’t figure out how to actually do it. There are 5 LED’s sitting on the same plate there. I am afraid, if I reflow them one by one then the first ones will be sitting there for too long and may get fried. Does anyone know any specific method of reflowing multiple LED’s on the same plate? Can I just place all 5 on the board and then heat them up till they all reflow and then remove the board quickly?
