Just wondering what some people’s experience with this online store might be. Thinking about ordering some more stuff from them since they offer free worldwide shipping with reasonable shipping time frames.
Very positive experience excluding the issues during the great Liion rejection of Q4 2013.
If you’re in USA I would recommend shipping via USPS Hong Kong. Except for 2 outliers ordered during businesses-closed-holidays, my orders average less than 8 days shipping.
Just keep in mind if you happen have issues with something their customer service is slow and definitely not the best with English comprehension.
on 2 monds and no problem here
positive
Thanks for the responses. I’m currently living in Taiwan, so maybe it will be even shorter than 8 days. crossing fingers But it’s good to know that if we ever move back to the states, they’re a reliable overseas company to buy from.
That about sums it up, they are a reseller so they don’t control the quality of what they sell but seem to ship genuine stuff (avoid any battery with fire in its name at any reseller, not just fasttech)
I think they used to have the best customer service, not anymore. Now if I have the choice I usually go to Banggood, their customer service has always been very responsive to all my requests. Alternatively I use Wallbuys, cherry is always very helpful with coupons and all.
They are all resellers, so sometimes they can take up to a week to source the stuff before shipping. No problem with that once they are honest with me, I will continue to use their service.
Wait!!! FastTech sells products?
cram at keyboard www.fasttech.com Must check this out!!!
We really need a sarcasm font
I've placed quite a few orders with them despite recent criticism in other threads here. Apart from shipment holdups due to the recent ban on li-ion cells, I still find their service to be a positive experience.
They are probably suffering the usual problems of a company that grows quickly and needs time to train staff. Some BLF members also complain that they have shifted too much toward vaping products.
I'd suggest you place a couple of small orders at first and see how it works ouf for you.
Done. Just tested the waters with a small order including a Tank007 E09.

All my purchases have been shipped Singapore Post. Shipments could be faster if I choose a different shipper. I am happy with the shipping times. After all it’s free. All the items I have purchased arrive in good condition. I think Fasttech is great. All my purchases have been flashlights. ![]()
I buy a lot of FT products (flashlights, DIY products, knives, batteries - they have many different types and also a lot of unprotected, which are rare on the market like LG) and I like the shop. Since a few days they started to ship batteries again :)
Wallbuys.com is also a good shop for flashlights and batteries (most protected) (free shipping, shipping time is good), they haven't nice knives.
I saw Wallbuys had some good stuff too, but it isn’t a secure website from the info my browser is telling me. Doesn’t have secure protocol and doesn’t use Verisign security for purchasing. Unless… my browser is malfunctioning. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

Can’t help but LOL’ing at that… haha… seriously WB is decent IMO but really, really need some competent IT people to maintain their system.
At one time, FT's customer service far exceeded all expectations. They were very pro-active and would resolve issues very promptly. Lately, shipping speed has gone down greatly, but that's not entirely FastTech's fault, although they do appear to be slow at actually shipping parcels out.
My last parcel was ordered on Dec. 04, and listed as shipped on Dec. 06 but was shipped via Sweden Post as the order contained a knife. Sweden Post Tracking indicated that the order was only dispatched on Dec. 18, two weeks after the order. The order was processed through Stockholm Sweden on Dec. 30, Showed up at the NY ISC on Jan. 02, and left New Jersey on Jan. 06. Hopefully, I'll have the package by the end of the week.
DX on the other hand, has been great lately. Their customer service has addressed any concerns I have brought up (for three separate orders, two regarding tracking not working, and a third regarding a defective product; $14 worth of store credit, no returns or questions asked) promptly within 24 hours. Shipping has been fast for orders, sometimes within 24 hours.
FT is honestly now about the same as the others, they seem bad lately because they used to be so much better than everyone else. My current order has been sitting unshipped for a week because of one small item out of stock, that never would have happened before. They would have just shipped the stuff they had on hand and shipped the others when they got them.
My first-time order from CNQG is doing nearly the same thing - been over a week on that one, no order confirmation email (got one from Paypal but nothing at all from CNQG), no notice of which item is the holdup, no idea whatsoever what's going on.

+1 Fasttech raised the bar way too high when they first hit the scene.
FT has never done me wrong and the darn well better keep it that way. I have a $75 battery order I placed yesterday and then $25 here in the US just to be safe ![]()
FastTech even photographed the package before they sent it out.
Recently one of my packages was lost in air, but it was not FastTech’s fault.
I told the customer service I have not received the package.
I was given a full refund!
I've just placed a fresh order with them. No batteries or knives. Let's see how they do!
5x Waterproof match sets: http://www.fasttech.com/product/1045400 - great matches to keep around, they burn fast, but very strongly.
1x Triple-cell power bank: http://www.fasttech.com/product/1381305 - time to put my stock of laptop-pull cells to work!
<Edit>I also placed three small orders through DX today as well... Let's see who gets to me first!
I’m perfectly satisfied with FT…do you have to realize beforehand that materials are coming from China and that involves distance as well as 2-3 different postal delivery systems.
