Anything open for Christmas (Dec 25th, 26th) in Florida? (visiting)

Hi guys,

maybe you can help me out.

we will be in Florida for a couple days, arriving late on December 24th.

To our big surprise it seems like that may be right in time for Christmas.

So the big question is, is there anything open (supermarket, shops or restaurants) on the 25th?
Some place to get breakfast, lunch or dinner?

Thanks for your help!

That is a tough call, where I’m at in Connecticut the only place open for business are a few gas stations, and perhaps Denny’s (a breakfast fast food chain).
Aldi is in my area (Connecticut 1100 miles away )but I am not sure of their hours of operation.
The Chinese takeout kitchens are a possibility but that varies from owner to owner.

In Florida, anythings goes.

Merry Christmas, and enjoy your stay in the US!

Disney will be open. Apparently it’s one of its busiest days of the year

You won’t have a problem finding something open; except maybe the roads; it’s winter in paradise and there are lots of people here.
Best time to go out is early morning between 8 and 10. :sunglasses:

There should be tons of stuff to do in Florida. Up here in the sticks my only option is a little place called a Renegade’s Saloon.

Smaller towns , no .
Big towns (like Orlando ) , yes .

Thank you all for your answers. So the situation may not be completely hopeless and we’ll probably survive the holidays.

We have nothing planed, just enjoy the day, so we will find something to do so.

Thanks again, happy holidays and a wonderful new year

Happy Holidays and hope you have a great visit.
