AR Coated Optical Glass Lens from FastTech

Anybody has these? Are they truly coated? How many layers? Single or multiple?

Yes I’ve asked FastTech but I want to know what do I really get not what they advertise it as.

Or what other budget source you would recommend for 20 and 42mm coated lenses?

Yes there are these 2 websites specialized in coated lenses but they are not budget by any means. KD has some but not these sizes if I’m not wrong and more pricey.

How to test? Look on the glass and catch a reflection of a lightsource behind you, you should see 1, 2, … ghosts in different colors magenta/green/… based on how many coatings the lens has. At least that works with a camera lens.

Or light up your flashlight and notice some difference on the glass, there is some but I don’t know how to describe it.

intl-outdoor has the 42mm c8 size lenses. dont really have a way to measure how good they are, but i like them :stuck_out_tongue:
they may have 20mm, not sure

FT has 18, 20, 42mm AR coated.

I just want to check in advance before buying them, like I forgot to do with the cyan GITD from intl-outdoor and they are rather green GITD than cyan.
