Whats that an indication of? Normal or something to be concerned about?
Anodized threads, but a little wear. Barely. Looked like an 1cm arc from the tailcap to the o-ring while I was screwing in the tailcap, like 1/3 of the way screwed on already. Or around that area. Doesnt make sense. All anondized threads on the tailcap and silicone grease on the o-ring, everything anondized around it. Unless there’s some metal shavings in the grease around the o-ring or something?

Light was off, wurkkos ts25 with a molicel p42a. Im having issues with the “gold” plating on the spring in the tailcap flaking off on this light. Wonder if some got stuff in the grease.
No, I guess spark would be more accurate. Wasn’t aware there was a difference. But it was an obvious line of electricity. Just instantaneous. About 1cm I think is accurate. Hard to say cuz it was so quick. Between 1/2 and 1 cm for sure.

I’ve seen “arcs” with bad connections, but it was more of an orange spark. There is high current involved, but low voltage. That means it has to touch to do anything. Maybe it was really just the light from a spark or a tiny spark itself.
Ya it was kind of an orange-ish. Just a quick little zap across the threads, but very clearly a line of electricity from point to point it was like 4" from my face. Idk what you call that. A spark? I mean it wasn’t like freakin Thor’s hammer lol. It was like a lesser version of the zap you get reconnecting the negative terminal on a car battery.
