Are DX watches any good?

I’m looking to get a watch nowadays, and since I buy lights from DX, why not buy something else?

So I’m wondering if these are any good and if watch and if anybody has bought other stuff from DX.

To me they look kind of cheap and tacky but if you like them go by the reviews.

If I was going to buy something cheap I would buy something cheap and reliable like the Casio F91W or Casio W800H, but I haven’t worn a watch for 10+ years.

I have this one and it’s been good to me.

It’s a bit scratched up from daily use, but still works great, and fun to use. I had to remove a few links to get it to fit right.

It does appear to be sold out now, but they have others that are similar.

For cheap end mechanicals, I would recommend reading this forum: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f72/

eBay has pretty much DX selection covered with lower prices.

If you want a quartz, you can check the "affordables" sub forum at WUS.

there are some nice fake watches on the priceangels:)

I have the O-tage in grey color. It is heavy and sturdy and it looks and feels like a expensive watch. The band is a bit stiff but no other cons so far.

I have also this one

and this one

both very nice as well

Is it easy to remove links? Where did you learn how to do it?

Might be a lot easier with one of these:

Thanks for the link. Problem is tools like these all talk about removing pins, but I do not see any pins in my watch band. Maybe the pins in my band are hidden by something like little ‘covering’ pieces.

Folks… I have this one from DX, is a CASIO clone and it works exactly as the original except for the blue dial (is a sticker, in the photo the needle is red, in real life is silver)

I bought it for 11,40$ NOW is 10,80$ :stuck_out_tongue:

The most I like from it is the EL blue backlight!

PS: the genuine one is worth about 50$
