Are the LED’s good?

Checking my 4 XML-2 Skyray (Al) pill on bench supply.

At 3.5 vF I read 4200 mA running all four in parallel.

Match posted a chart showing 3400 mA for one XML-2 @ 3.5 vF

Ringing each side, cold, 1 side read 16 MΩ and the other side 17.2 MΩ.

OK to use these, I don’t have a single XML-2 to compare?

TIA

4.2A / 4 = 1.05A per LED.

Are you sure it is already on High mode? Unless I miss something otherwise it is pretty low. :frowning:

Me grasshopper. This was bench supply direct to skinny 22g wire leading LED. First time on bench. 2nd run 10 amps @ 3.36V measured at LED wires at MCPCB. 45 second max run time with out welding gloves?

I have a MTN. SRK 32x 7135 Driver - 46mm coming so trying to get this through my head.

Thx

Sounds like your skinny wires may be holding you back some?

My old Parma brand wire is way too big and my smaller Teflon wire does not bend easy.

I’m been wondering if the mismatched reading led’s will cause trouble, measured on the MCPCB. This from a comment texaspyro made on the Oshpark Projects thread.

Thx
