I got my ham license for FPV flying, wanted to be legal but also just learn about RF and the technology behind it. I am not active in any ham radio clubs or local associations but I am interested in discussing the topic, hardware and the overall culture.
Kind of dormant but renewed my General class a few years ago. CW is so rusty now that I’m hard pressed to copy 5WPM :person_facepalming: Mostly do local and no contesting but I’ve snagged a few rarities just by chance including Antarctica :sunglasses:
