Just opened armytek wizard planning to use big external battery.
What is the driver max input voltage does anyone know?

The specs don’t state otherwise, so probably a maximum of 4.2V, the voltage of a fully-charged 18650 cell.
Some of Armytek’s other models can run on 2 x CR123 cells in addition to a single 18650, but not the Wizard.
Your mod sounds interesting. Can you share more details?

I manage to open light easy no heating reguired :D.
Soldered 5x1.5mm2 to board.
I used 2 zipties to support soldering from vibration inside tube…

2:30h runtime 4.18V—->3.83V
