I only have one Zebralight(sc52). I really like the sc52 and will use this everyday for dog walking when the evenings get dark earlier, but was concerned by the tail O’ring being too small on my sc52 to make a seal and then seeing results of peoples dunk/shower tests of sc52 and H502’s. I’m sure these are only a very few isolated cases though.
I was deciding between the Wizard pro wide and the H602. The Wizard pro is IP68 rated which is important due to the risk of water and dust in work. I’m not 100% convinced by the press fit bezel used in the Zebralights and the IPX7 rating.
I also like the 5500K tint tint offered by Armytek.
Correction. By last week, I meant this week. The 3rd. I suppose I should take it out of the box and try it. :D I won't really know how much I like it until I use it night hiking and try reading maps and notes in a bivy sack.
Kreisler,
I always thought you were a bit of a weirdo but I just chalked it up to your being German and figured you couldn’t help it. Now I’m not so sure.
I’ve not had much time to try it yet, but I’m impressed so far.
Very nice solid build, fit and finish. And the wide beam is perfect for indoor use. Really bright on Turbo, and perfect firefly mode too.
This light will be perfect for close up work, and also lighting a dark room to work in while rewiring boarded up houses.
I took mine on a backpacking trip about a month ago, it's a great light and works really well. The lowest mode is perfect for rummaging through your pack in the middle of the night, and if you switch it up to the low mode it works well for hiking (and a great battery life) and then of course if you need it, there is always high. ;) One battery lasted me a 5 day backpacking trip, including one rushed packing/hikinh in the middle of the night due to sudden rain.
