Is there a cheap asian copy of the TK-70?
If not are there any inexpensive lights with 4”+ diameter heads.
i’m planning to buy a btu shocker, what do you think?

I have a shocker, a J-19 and an SP03
They all have good points and some bad points.
The Shocker is just overall a bad ass light the way it comes, no need to mod but can be modded into the biggest monster of the bunch. But it’s the worst of the bunch for carrying. It’s obnoxiously front end heavy.
The J-19 stinks when it’s stock. It’s badly underdriven. But it’s nicer to carry and with the bigger cells has the longest runtime. It’s still a huge light but it’s well balanced when you carry it. Modded it’s unreal. With both a ton of throw and flood. Modded I think it’s the best one all around. At least it’s my favorite.
The SP03 is not a lumen monster but is still a very nice light. It’s best point is that it has good throw and decent flood the run times are good and it doesn’t get hot or drop in output either. The negative points are that it’s not easily modded. The handle is not well balanced so it’s also top heavy (still way nicer than the Shocker), I don’t like the lighted button and even if you take the handle off it’s not that comfortable to carry because the body is kind of square.
If I could only own one of them it would be the modded J-19, then the SP03 then the Shocker. Keep in mind that I mostly like lights that I can take for long walks. If my criteria was just the WOW factor the modded Shocker would be number one. Although a modded J-19 blows away a stock Shocker and still comes close to a modded shocker.
If you can mod I would say go for the J-19 or buy one modded already if what you are looking for is the best overall light of the bunch.
I tried buying from them but their shipping is way too high on this light and they will not budge on the price.

big +1 on the modded j19, it really makes me smile, just a warning though, feilong cells are a tight fit, I’m going to relieve the battery tube a touch to make them a drop in fit, once thats done it’ll be awesome and satisfy my craving for a big stupidly high output light.
Someone buy that Tangsfire from Tmart and get the rest of us some performance numbers.
What I’m really looking for is a light with a big head. I don’t care whats in it or anything else. i need something to house 7 MTG2 or MKR so like 4” or 100mm neighborhood. And I want it for really cheap.
Wow 7MTG2’s? I wish you good luck. But I honestly don’t think it can be done without a custom build top to bottom and even then it would have to be massive.

I have gotten appreciate big lights now that I’ve adopted a “certain lights for certain tasks” philosophy. If it throws as well as al the big boys, I may at some point invest in this and have it modded to insane levels.
