Aurora P7 5 repair

Hi, my old Aurora http://www.dx.com/p/aurora-ak-p7-5-ha-iii-ssc-p7-c-2-mode-900-lumen-led-flashlight-with-assault-crown-1-18650-15739#.WooIHZM-fVo flashlight has developed some flickering. And it does not have any LVP. It deserves a major overhaul, since it has been reliable for more than 8 years. I will replace the original led for a xm-l2 u3 1a and I will also need a new driver. Nothing fancy, and preferably as cheap as possible. The pill can accommodate 17mm drivers. The driver must have a LVP that turns the flashlight off when the voltage is too low, instead of just switching to a low mode, then as few modes as possible, and it should drive the LED at around 3A. I do not need to turn it into a 2000lm DD pocket rocket with ramping and programmable features, it will continue its peaceful life of a reliable EDC. Could you recommend me a suitable driver?

I found these candidates
1.
http://kaidomain.com/p/S024848.CF-17mm-3V-4_5V-AMC7135-x-8-3A-6-Mode-LED-Driver-Circuit-Board-for-Cree-XM-L it has too many modes and flashing below 3V instead of cut off, but otherwise OK

http://kaidomain.com/p/S020073.New-KDLIGHT-7135-V4-17mm-8-x-AMC7135-1-Cell-16-Groups-Flashlight-Driver-Board-1pc looks a bit tricky to a noob like me, but it has the feature of turning itself off as a LVP

Then there are some drivers I found on fasttech, but I could not find any info on their LVC.

And there is also an Astrolux S1/BLF A6 A17DD-L FET driver Astrolux S1/BLF A6 A17DD-L FET+1 2,8-4,35v 7/4-Modi-Taschenlampen-Treiber-Taschenlampenzubehör Sale - Banggood Deutschland-arrival notice-arrival notice , but I am not sure about the LVP feature.

Number 3 seems to be the winner.
What do you recommend? Thanks for help!
