Does any one know anything about these,just bought one complete off ebay ,but was hoping it will b ok as a host for my first build :bigsmile:

You’ll want to mod it. An SST-50 isn’t as bright as the XM-Ls and later, although I like their tints.

Thanks for reply rusty joe.Whati have read suggests they r decent leds but need to b drivren hard approx 5amps.If i was to go this route would the heat not b an issue and would i have to invest in samsung inr type cells for the high current.Which i think would only give 15-20 minutes run time.Help input please.
