How long does it take to get something from Bang good these days? I haven’t bought in about a year or so.

Same here and I want to know if it is going as usual

I ordered something (via ordinary Air Parcel) exactly 2 weeks ago and right now it’s in customs. It’s probably going to take a few more days.
All in all, not too bad. 2 days from order to shipping.
Luckily no batteries in my order, that could cause some delay until the new regulations are sorted out. The new CN->US import fees are probably going to take additional time as well.

It can take a month. I've had some very bad experiences with them. I don't think I'll order again. My A6 had soldering problems and they shipped me a new head... a demo board with a dummy PCB, dummy LED and was utterly useless.

I have had nothing but good luck with BG. Shipping is usually in the 14 to 21 days or so. I think only once did it take 4 weeks.

I have ordered a few things from Banggood within the last 2 months, taking 24 days on every order to the US.

First you wait. Next you forget that you’re waiting, Life goes on. Eventually it will come. Expect the wait. Me? I like having things when I want them. If it’s on amazon, and I want it quick, it’s amazon prime. I will do the slow boat from China thing if it’s unavoidable, or if I’m OK waiting. When I go the China route I like to use Banggood. Banggood has never let me down. I’ve also has good experiences with DX.

My guess is that you mostly wait wait for the shipping container to fill up. Sometimes I get unlucky because the shipping container is mostly empty. Sometimes I luck out and what’s headed my way comes much faster because my stuff gets is last thing loaded into the shipping container. I’ve recently had an order arrive from China in 8 days. As unlikely as this is, good things sometimes happen.

That is the world according to me.

Cheerio

Slow boat from China. No less, no more.

then there’s that

My last two order from banggood take 7-10 days with the tracking. some smaller $11 item take 24 days…

I placed an order last month (for $0.89) from Banggood and it took 3 weeks to arrive, which seems to be about how long it normally takes for them. Overall, not too bad. I’ve ordered from China on eBay which, depending on the shipping method, can take up to 2 months.

Queensland.

95% of time. orders from any China\Singapore through Changi Airport mail take 30ish days.
to here.

Just order/Pay. Wail till you forget it.
Then 4 or 5 days later Maybe. It’ll appear.

When you pay the coupla $$’s mail extra. It normally comes in the 14/16 day cycle.

Just pay and forget.
everything from there. is around 25/30% the cost of same items bought here.
so worth it.

10-17 days on average for me unless it's batteries, then its anywhere between 3 to 5 weeks.

International postage packages are required to be sent through air by law.

The way they get round that is to put all the packages for a given country, addressed but not postage-paid, in a big box. The box goes in a surface transport shipping container destined for an intermediary in that country. The intermediary takes the packages out of the box, affixes domestic postage for that country and sends them onward to the final recipient. Saves companies like Banggood or Gearbest quite a lot of money.

For small stuff that they want to ship faster, the box of addressed but not postage-paid packages goes on a plane. It costs more for the air freight, but they still save money by handling customs for one box instead of many packages, so the intermediary charges are cheaper. Air freighting a big box is also cheaper per package than sending them individually, and the intermediary can often get bulk deals for the onward domestic postal charges.

My orders from Canada usually take 2-3 weeks, usually 2 weeks.

It is quite nice.

if u take priority direct mail and anything besides the free shipping u get stuff within a few weeks with no problems usually.

Isn’t this the vendor everyone complains about ?

No, that’s Gearbest’s job :stuck_out_tongue:

Haha. They're all good until something goes wrong.
