I ordered 2 Shockli 26650 batteries on Dec1. I checked a minute ago…….Yes it’s still ‘Processing! Today is Dec12. Almost 2 weeks and still ’processing’. Anyone here have ‘Processing’ issues with Banggood?
Was it in stock when u ordered?
I actually didn’t check but I was able to add to cart and then pay for it. Maybe they’re just making the battery now

Haha true true. Ah well I’ll just have to wait. I mean if I can wait 5 days after messaging Sofrin to get a simple answer of “Yes your light include batt” then I can wait for the Shockli.

its busy times now before holidays buying stuff…. i wouldnt buy batteries from banggood tho…
BG’s predicted processing times seem to usually be wrong by a factor of ten or so. Give it a couple more weeks. You’re only at 7 business days processing time.
I also order two Shockli 26650 12/1. Ship date shows 12/12 Did you look at ship date?
I have order same battery before here, got it and is same exact as Illum
If you’re ordering from China anyway, may as well use Shockli’s aliexpress store. I can’t get a link atm because I’m on my phone though. (well, I can get This mobile link… )
Using Banggood mobile app, I went to check this morning on the batteries under “Processing” and the batteries not there anymore! I went to “Shipped” and it’s not there either?? Maybe it’s shipped and there’s an update delay? What should I do now?
Correction I actually found it and it’s on “Backorder”. At the bottom there’s a choice for “Apply Refund”. What’s Backorder mean? Should I just wait?
Back-ordered means they don’t have it. And are waiting for stock from supplier.

I have learned from years of buying flashlight related parts oversea’s, is that there are no amazon two-day shipping china sites out there that ship to the US. What I mean is that in china they may have the product in stock and they may not (but they know where to get it from). If they do have the item in stock they may pull and ship the item in 24 hours and they may take a week. If its not in stock it may take a few days to ship or months and sometimes the item is discountinued by their supplier and they may never ship the item, get a refund!!!
I have also learned that their site may say in stock but it’s not. You place a order and it sits with no shipping update. You ask to check on order as the site still says “In Stock” they give you some excuss to why their system doesn’t update the stock status of out of stock items but please be patient your order will ship in a few days.
Sometimes items are marked shipped and you get a tracking number but the package doesn’t move for a week. Sometimes it gets on a boat or plane and disappears for several days or a week. Sometimes it makes it to a hub in your country and sets for a week or more. Once shipped they’re just so many variables as to when a item actually gets to you it’s to big to list and I probably haven’t experienced half the other reasons that wouldn’t be in the list.

What I’m getting at here is dont trust “In Stock” status just because that’s what it says. Dont expect your items to be shipped in a day because their in stock. Dont expect you’ll get your items in 10 days like you normally do once the item has shipped. Buying from china is not like buying from Amazon where part of their business model is trying to get your items to you as fast as possible so you’ll come back and buy more for convenience. Once you pay they have your money and as long as they ship the item soon before you ask for a refund business is good. They do get busy sometimes and probably have a limited number of staff which causes delays especially around sales like 11.11 or Christmas time or Chinese New Year. Next month is really a bad time to order anything if your in a hurry.

If you order from oversea’s be patient but watch your order status and try not to get frustrated because you should expect they’re maybe delays. Know when you buy items from there that it maybe a month or more before you get your items but usually 2 weeks. Buying items with paypal is a good idea for the insurance of getting a refund if items don’t show up or they can’t simply source them. I have always got my items ordered in one way or another. I have had very few problems along the way but they have always been resolved with only one seller that I didn’t like their resolution for a item that was defective twice. I dont buy from Dealextreme anymore, problem solved.

If you need your items quickly, buy local if you can. Otherwise, know before you buy it could take awhile to get your items. I have come to expect that I may not get my items in my normal 10 day slot but they will eventually show up. I know it gets frustrating when your waiting on a new light or parts to mod a light that you have had tore down for 2 weeks waiting for your new modding parts but it doesn’t make the items get to you any faster. I try to find something else to play around with while I’am waiting.

Fasttech use to the amazon of oversea’s sellers in my opinion. They were very well organized and kept up with stock status, shipped usually in a day or two of order and give you a pic of the actually package with the tracking number on it. Shipping times where fast. Now they seem to be following the normal china business practices. Still a good seller but nowhere near as organized or as fast to ship as they where a few years ago and their systems stock status doesn’t update properly, so they tell me .

Hey thanks for the explanation brother . Yes it’s the holiday season and I was expecting some kind of delay. Yeah local is an option too but it’s quite expensive. You know… the old ’I’ll charge you $10 for the battery and another $10 for my pocket” kinda thing. Well no worries, at least my flashlight includes 25560 batt and it’s shipped already

I noticed some activity in the following deal alert this morning Shockli 26650 Batt in stock.
I then checked my Banggood order of the same item and it still shows 'Backorder'. I guess it'll ship out anyday now??
that depends how long it will take it to order from their supplier… can take days or even weeks if more, dont expect it to move fast before end of year though but it all depends sometimes it can move quickly, sometimes u have to be patient…
I’ve had too many problems in the past with their banking system to bother with them anymore. Also my bank doesn’t like dealing with them either. I’m not sure if I understand but, it seems like a security issue.
