Bangood fireflies e07 order

After getting on this forum and discovering many cool lights I decided I wanted a fireflies E07!! Placed my order with bangood for fireflies e07 xplhi.
I did my research and ordered the batteries needed for the light ended up grabbing 1 21700 Samsung 30t, one 40t, and 4 18650 30q while I was at it for it when not needing full demand and other lights as well. Got my batteries from liion and wow there awesome fast and I receive good cells.
So my package from bangood arrived yesterday friday June 14th. I was very excited until I opened it to find what was inside?? A $3 phone holder!!! Wow how can someone ship me a 3 dollar phone holder accessory (I guess for recording video with your phone)when I ordered a 83 dollar flashlight?? I immediately made contact, twice actually to make sure it went through then started a live chat which I’m assuming they also made contact. I was told to wait for a email from bangood within 48hrs. I doubt I’ll hear anything till at least Monday.
How does something like this happen?? I wanna hope it was a accident but thinking a packer probably took my light then sent the phone holder so he would have 3 weeks or so to escape and cover his tracks with my light. Who knows?? Anyway I sure hope it gets resolved. I’ve had my paypal account for many years and never had to open a dispute and hope I don’t have to now. Anyway let me know if any of you all have had any issues like this and how it turned out. I’ve heard of people shipping rocks in a box and getting away with it because shipping showed package was delivered!! I sure hope this ain’t true being in my case the package shows it was delivered but it sure wasn’t what I ordered. Now when and if they send a replacement I just hope they get it right being I ordered the more expensive xplhi version.

Hi Jake, welcome to BLF!

Banggood makes mistakes just like any retailer (more mistakes than many US based retailers, sure) but I can assure you nothing nefarious is going on, just an honest, albeit annoying mistake.

Do be prepared to send them photos of the item and of the packaging, that’s just SOP for them. I’m 1000% positive they’ll correct the mistake, their process might be a little annoying but mistakes do happen and they have their routine…

Out of all the Chinese vendors Banggood is the one I’ve had to turn to PayPal for the least. Not saying they’re infallible [by far], but they’re one of the better ones.

Ok cool that’s good to hear. My concern was this basically being my word against theirs. My other concerns are if and when they do resend the light then sending the wrong 66 dollar cheaper emitter version. I’m new to these lights so still in for the brightest possible version in the coolest white available. I really love that extreme white bright appearance. I have no idea what the CRI I keep reading about is. But this is why I’m here. Thanks for the comment it did ease my mind a bit. Oh and during the live chat pics were submitted so hope all will be good.

No not just you, lol it does happen to me all the time. In this case I was tracking this light from the day it shipped. Plus I’ve never even seen a phone holder till this one came. But most importantly on the shipping label it also shows what was purchased along with the price as well. I do have another bangood order out so I made certain which order I was dealing with when I seen it was wrong. I so wish it was the other order I have out as it’s just extra speaker headsets for my motorcycle communication setup I use. The speaker/mic setup shares a port with the charge cord. So everytime I charge I must unplug my heaphones from the unit. This over time causes the connection to start acting up. Usually I can plug a new set of headphones in and I’m back in buisness. The wife and I love being able to communicate while riding separate bikes. It just makes the whole experience better. It also seems to help us stay safe by letting each other know what we see coming or happening. For example when I pull out of a intersection I let her know it’s clear to come with me really cool to have and don’t see how we ever rode without them. Lol

I will add to this thread I started my purchasing of my batteries on eBay. Before every order I made contact to confirm genuine cells. I ordered 2 times both were fake cells. 1st order was 4 LG HG2 and they tested to be 2000 mah capacity at the max so I was pretty sure they was fake. When I told the seller he gave me a full refund letting me keep the batteries even though I told him I would settle for less. So I then tried for 4 Samsung 30q this seller assured me these were genuine. When I got them they was 2 totally different types of cells. 2 cells looked like the real thing and the other 2 had the 4 way positive lead setup. I do know Samsung 30q have a 3 way positive lead so 2 of the cells were fake without a doubt. This time the seller was a jerk about it saying I got 4 cells that were better than 30qs and I should be happy being they do all 4 test at 3000 plus mah. I couldn’t make him understand I don’t care if they test for just capacity I wanted genuine 30q period. Had to send them back and currently waiting on refund. Then I came here to research where I was going to start getting my batteries. Liion wholesale was the answer and wow there so fast with shipping. Got my 4 genuine 30q plus one 30t and one 40t.

Wanted to update, bangood sent me my light but I will say it was a pain in the but having to send pics several times to get them exactly what they wanted when I just wanted my light I paid for. As for the E07, wow it’s the coolest light I’ve ever had and the first to truely impress me. I like these hot rods so much after seeing this light I ordered the emisar D4v2 today as well.
