What is the best setup for a E2D with the LF 1-mode drop in? According to their website this drop in outputs a max of 550lms (319A 4000k 80cri) with a voltage range of 3.6-9v. Interestingly, the runtime off a sinlge 16650 is rated much less (40min) than off 2xCR123 (90min) vs 2x16340 (60min). Now I figure it must be doing something funny with the current regulation between 1s and 2s power source since the primary vs rechargeable 2s config kind of makes sense with the lower capacity of 16340s.
I don’t necessarily need the full 550lms this is rated for but I would prefer the simplicity of 16650 vs 2x16340. Thoughts?
